Can you spare a summer snack tip?

Moms and Dads, I need to pick your beautiful minds!

I am working on a piece for the Enterprise on great summer snacks for kids. If you have any recommendations, please comment below. I will be most grateful.
I can't print anonymous tips, so please sign off with your real name if you don't mind it printed in the paper.

Thanks!

I just wrote a website about snacking - and particularly kid friendly snacking - http://www.snacksnoop.com
My favorite kid snacks in summer time are watermelon, frozen grapes, make your own popsicles.
I hope this helps.

Healthy Trail Mix on the Go

Specific amounts aren't necessary, just add to taste.

Cheerios - Yogurt or Banana Nut work great

Dried Strawberries
Nuts (Pecans, Peanuts, Almonds)
Granola
Raisins
Chocolate Chips

My two year old loves this. I give her a little in a snack size baggie and she's good to go! :)
