I like to think Kate Gosselin saw my recent post on her hideous hair and decided to trade in the flat iron for some scrunching gel. (Thank God she left her crimper on the bottom shelf.)
Unfortunately, I am sure it was those thousands of other pleas from America for her to get rid of the angry hair that did the trick.
Sad, sad news in the entertainment world. Patrick Swayze has died of pancreatic cancer. He was 57.
My first introduction to Swayze's work was, of course, "Dirty Dancing." He was just so rugged and cool in that movie. And you can't say that all too often about men who wear tight T-shirts and love to dance.
He kept that cool vibe going in "Roadhouse," "Point Break" and "Next of Kin." All great movies. But, Swayze will always stay in my heart for two memorable phrases: "Nobody puts Baby in a corner" and "He's got the sexiest moves I've ever seen."
Check out Swayze's "time of his life" in this SNL clip:
And a little something extra for you fans of North & South. (Warning: Swayze gets steamy in this scene. Not for the kiddos.)
It's no "Harry Potter" or "Twilight", but one of the most anticipated literary works of the year is coming out tomorrow.
Let us all rejoice in unison now!
Dan Brown's "The Lost Symbol" - his first novel since "The DaVinci Code" - brings professor Robert Langdon home to America on a 12-hour thrill search through the streets of Washington D.C.
Get yours at Barnes & Noble or Books-a-Million for around $18 hardback tomorrow.
Kudos to Beyonce Knowles for having the dignity and grace to give Taylor Swift the limelight she deserved Sunday night during the MTV Video Music Awards.
In case you didn't watch the show (It's okay, I didn't either. I am about a decade too old to tune into MTV these days.), Kanye West stole Taylor's moment to relish in her win for best female video when he stormed the stage, shouting Beyonce's "Single Ladies" video was a better choice for the award.
(Here's a clip, in case you missed it)
"I was standing on the stage and I was really excited because I had just won the award," Swift told the Associated Press after Sunday's show at Radio City Music Hall. "And then I was really excited because Kanye West was on the stage. And then I wasn't so excited anymore after that."
When Beyonce won video of the year later in the night for "Single Ladies," she invited Swift out on stage to "have her moment."
Kanye, according to the AP, was asked to leave the building. He has since blogged an apology to Taylor.
So, what do you think? Should he do more to make up for embarrassing Taylor and ruining her first VMA award?
Ladies, bacon is not just for the breakfast table anymore. Apparently you can put a little sizzle in the bedroom with the bacon bra.
And no, it's not available at Victoria's Secret. You my friend, can pick up this little slice of heaven for you (or your lady friend)at any Market Basket, H-E-B, Kroger or wherever bacon is sold. Comes in a variety of flavors and cuts. Panties sold separately.
Okay. So he didn't say he despises Kate's hair during his whole ABC "Family in Crisis" interview this week. But, I like to think that the hair was included in Jon's I Hate Kate address to America Tuesday night.
Regardless of which side your on, (I personally am cheering for Maddie Gosselin to win the family smack down. Girl has got some 'tude) I think we can all agree this assault on Kate (and her hair) is hysterical.
