Feces, vaginal secretions could be lurking in your new clothes

I learned a lot about people while working at a major department store during college. A lot:

1. A grown woman will urinate in a changing room if she "can't find a bathroom."

2. If a man wants to try on panties in the ladies lingerie department, you have to let him.

AND

3. People will hide clothes in dark, GROSS places when they try to steal.

A shoplifter was nabbed by a store manager on my second day at work. The man had stolen a number of Tommy Hilfiger shirts, concealing several in his pants. After sending the thief to the pokey, my manager brought the shirts back to me and instructed me to hang them back up. That's right, I had to hang butt-flavored shirts back up on a Tommy Hilfiger rack like nothing ever happened. (And people wonder why I am a germaphobe now.)

Anyway. Good Morning America recently tested 14 clothing samples from low- and high-end stores. Their results were nasty, to say the least. They found feces, vaginal secretions and germs that cause diarrhea on the samples.

So please, take it from me and Good Morning America: Wash your new clothes before you wear them! (And wash your hands after trying them on.)

This is so very, very true. People who will steal, will do anything to conceal the crime.
This article is not "repulsive" or "gross, nasty, absurd;" the article serves its intended purpose, which is to inform the average consumer that you do, in face, need to wash your new clothes before wearing them, otherwise you face some upsetting consequences!

Pardon me, dear. When was the last time you washed your hands before you cooked supper?

I often wonder about grocery baskets, where babies with dirty diapers sit where most people put their bread and other items for safe keeping. Some folks will place this specious bundle of joy on places where other people use to write checks, ect. Also many people put their feet in chairs when in public palces; this can happen after visiting the restrooms, where they have come in contact with God knows what!

My bread goes under the basket. I also wile down the sides AND insides of baskets, as well as the area when hands touch.

uhmm.. grocery person, you DO realize your food products are packaged and protected from the cart, right? Babies in dirty diapers, same thing, the nasties are in the diaper, not in the cart. Unless you go home and lick the packaging?
Now the clothes thing, oh yeah it's believeable. I don't understand why people wouldn't think about that on their own, without TV bringing it to light. What, gross people don't try on clothes? Of course they do! Why would you take clothes home and not wash them though? It's like taking new dishes home and drinking from a glass before washing it.. Yuck.
